DeLatin Sound perform a range of original Latin music with Cuban and Brazilian influences, fused with funky beats, soulful vocals and jazzy keys. Fresh Cuban Salsa, Rumba, Funk and Samba sounds that will make you want to dance the night away!

They are a diverse band ranging from a 12 piece ensemble including horn section, percussion and vocals to a more intimate quartet. They can provide professional Salsa, and Afro-Cuban dance lessons and only the best Latin DJ’s in the country to get any event fired up!

DeLatin Sound bring their spicy Cuban and Brazilian funk fusion to the legendary Floridita 100 Wardour St, London W1F 0TN  in Soho, Thursday 13th May 2010.

A truly international project founded with years of experience. The musicians have worked with many famous artists in the Latin Scene, from Robin Jones’ King Salsa, Snowboy and the Latin Section and the legendary Havana rumba group ‘Clave y Guaguanco’. With strong connections to popular artists like Jools Holland and Amy Winehouse to some of the jazz greats such as Courtney Pine and Roy Ayers. Venues include high profile gigs in the UK and abroad including Ronnie Scott’s and The Jazz Café.

DELATIN SOUND RECIPE

Method: Soak a collection of musicians in a pot of Cuban and Brazilian vibes over night. Bring to boil and simmer. Mash. Fry beats in hot oil until sizzling; add a handful of jazz, a sprinkle of funk. Mix together with all the Latin flavours. Add spice! (Serve hot and fresh! Feeds everyone.)
